WWLP - A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 1 a.m. Sunday for Berkshire County.
* Hazard types...snow and blowing snow.
* Accumulations...snow accumulation of 2 to 6 inches...with the greatest amounts across higher...west facing elevations.
* Timing...periods of snow until midnight or so.
* Impacts...snow covered roadways will make for difficult and hazardous travel. Blowing snow will also make for periods of reduced visibility. Snow rates up to one inch per hour will be possible.
* Winds...west 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
* Visibilities...reduced to under one half of a mile at times in snow and blowing snow.
* Temperatures...falling into mid and upper 20s. Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
