CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Berkshire, Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin Counties from 4 a.m. through 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Late morning through mid-afternoon: Snow showers could mix with some light sleet or rain in the lower Pioneer Valley. Over the Berkshires and in northern parts of the Pioneer Valley, precipitation should remain as snow throughout.
Late afternoon into the evening: Back to snow for everyone. However, at this time there should just be a few snow showers or flurries leftover.
Accumulations will range from 2-5" for most people. If we do get some sleet or rain mixing in, that will impact accumulations for the lower Pioneer Valley. Some neighborhoods could get as much as 3-6" of snow, particularly over the Berkshires. Here's the latest 22News Storm Team snowfall forecast.
