SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - People in the Springfield area appreciated the lower temperatures and less humidity, which helped make Thursday a very comfortable day.
Barbara Sullivan takes a brisk walk through Springfield's Forest Park every day. She told 22News that the walk didn't take quiet as much out of her Thursday as it did on Wednesday.
“Well, yesterday it was so hot, it was stifling, and I probably shouldn't have been out. But that's my routine,” Sullivan said.
It would have been impossible for Lauren White to stroll through the park earlier this week, because her daughter has asthma.
Others who were enjoying the day at Forest Park on Thursday told 22News that having a cool breeze for a change, really felt good.
