Ashley Baylor

(WWLP) - A native of Eastern Massachusetts, Ashley is thrilled to be back in the Bay State after spending the past 3 years as a primetime meteorologist at WEAU in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Ashley has had an interest in weather since she was young. While living in South Carolina, she watched the coverage of Hurricane Andrew as it made landfall in Florida, and instantly became hooked on weather, specifically tropical activity.

With a degree in Broadcast Meteorology from SUNY-Albany, Ashley started her weather career in New York City as a freelance weather producer for NY 1 News and Good Day New York. She eventually became a freelance on-air meteorologist for News 12 Connecticut. More recently, Ashley was awarded an honorable mention for her photo of lenticular clouds which was published in the 2008 issue of WeatherWise magazine.

In her free time, she likes to play golf, dance, coach swimming, and catch as many Patriots games as possible!!
