(CNN) - It's another boy for Robert Downey Jr. The 46-year-old actor and his wife Susan welcomed a son on Tuesday morning in Los Angeles, CNN has confirmed.

The little one was born at 7:24 a.m., weighing in at 7 pounds and 5 ounces. The proud parents named their new addition Exton Elias Downey.

Dad Downey already has visions of stardom for his progeny. When asked what he'd say to his unborn son back in December, the actor replied, "Are you ready for your close-up?"

Although it's the first child for Downey and Susan, the "Iron Man" star also has an 18-year-old son, Indio, from a previous marriage.
