COLUMBUS, Ohio (CNN/WBNS) - A robbery suspect in Columbus tried to get away from police by stealing one of their cruisers.

When police approached the scene of a robbery at an apartment Tuesday morning, shots were fired and a 21-year-old man was killed. It's not clear who shot the victim - the suspects or police.

That's when one of the suspects hopped into the cruiser and took off as police fired shots at the car.

He didn't get far. Police arrested him after he crashed into another apartment building.

Police are still looking for the second suspect.
