ENNIS, Texas (AP) — Houston's gonna be short hundreds of jack-o'-lanterns this Halloween.
A tractor-trailer rig toting a load of pumpkins to the Bayou City crashed into a guardrail on U.S. 287 in Ennis and burst into flames.
The driver wasn't injured in the 6:45 a.m. Wednesday accident, but hundreds of burned and burning pumpkins were strewn on the highway.
Investigators don't know what caused the driver to lose control of the rig.
