Masterful bears teeter on the tightrope

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (NBC/RTV) - Some very talented bears are turning out to be the delight of audiences at the Bolshoi Circus in St. Petersburg.

You may have seen bears walk or even ride tricycles. But have you ever seen tightrope-walking bears?

Troupe leader Alexander Ivanov borrowed the idea from his father, who was a renowned star in Soviet times.

The troupe has five bears that can walk the tightrope.

Some of the bears learned faster than others, but now they all look like naturals.
