AUSTIN, Minn. (CNN/KIMT) - People in Austin, Minn., were feeling the heat this weekend.

It was out with the old, for the condemned grandstands at the Mower County Fairgrounds.

The blaze was used as a training session for the firefighters.

The Austin Fire Department says burning down the grandstands will save the city more than $30,000 in removal.

City officials say they are looking to replace them in the future.
