PHILADELPHIA (CNN/WPVI) - A tire ended up in a very unusual place in Philadelphia Monday.

And no, it didn't fall from the sky. Police say it came off a truck and hit a car behind it. The tire then flew into the air and struck a city housing authority building.

A person in the car was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

There was a class of about 30 people inside the workforce development building when the tire hit. They said it sounded like an explosion.

None of them were hurt.

State police are now looking for the truck that lost the tire.
