'Idol' auditions kick off next week

First stop: St. Louis, Missouri

ST. LOUIS (AP) — It's time to warm up those vocal cords. The first auditions for season 11 of "American Idol" are in just about a week.

The first is in St. Louis on Tuesday, June 28th. You have to be 15-28 years old as of June 26th. That's also the day wristbands are available.

Future Idol auditions are in Portland, Oregon on July 2nd, July 8th in San Diego, July 15th in Pittsburgh, July 22nd in Charleston, South Carolina, July 29th in Denver.

Then, there's a gap of about a month with the final Idol auditions set for August 26 in Houston.
