SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A San Antonio woman is accused of staging her own abduction because she wanted a day off from work and some attention.

Sheila Bailey Eubank is charged with aggravated perjury. The 48-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday.

The San Antonio Express-News reports (http://bit.ly/RQQ7lu ) that Eubank was found in her car tied by rope. Police say that she told police an unknown man got into her car and threatened her with a knife.

But police say they found a lottery ticket in her purse bought at a nearby store. Surveillance footage from the store shows Eubank looking unworried.

When shown the footage, she admitted making up the story.

She has been released on $100,000 bail, according to online records. Her attorney, William Delano, did not immediately return a phone message.
