ST. CLOUD, Minn. (NBC/STRINGER) - The Northern Lights put on a stunning show in the sky over Minnesota.
Also known as the Aurora Borealis, they put on a light show Tuesday night, bringing autumn colors that filled the fall skies in Saint Cloud.
The light displays often show up in several colors, including green, red, yellow and blue.
Northern Lights are caused by particles from Earth's atmosphere hitting particles from the sun's atmosphere.
