CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Name: Jerry
Breed: Cattle dog mix
Age: 1 year
Sex: neutered male
Color: black and white
Date of Surrender: 5/10/2013
Reason for Surrender and Description:
June is national Adopt-A-Cat month but we're featuring a dog tonight because things are getting a little tight (and loud!) in the kennels at Dakin. Jerry is a Dixie dog who traveled all the way from a southern shelter that was bursting at the seams with friendly dogs. He is a busy and high energy boy with a lot of personality. As a young dog who is still learning how to be polite around humans, Jerry needs a family that will be supportive of and patient with him. He would be great for an active and experienced adopter interested in doing some canine sports such as dog agility. Jerry LOVES toys and will entertain you with his hilarious antics. We'd recommend a home with older children who can handle Jerry's exuberant energy!
