HATFIELD, Mass. (Mass Appeal) - If you're still making popcorn in the bag, you'd better think again. Making popcorn from scratch isn't that hard, and it tastes great. Chris Rachmaciej is the owner of Pioneer Valley Popcorn and she's joined by her son Dominic, the CEO of taste testing, and they show us just some of the amazing ways you can cook popcorn.
Chris shows us her versions of Cinnamon Chocolate Popcorn, Kettle Corn, Popcorn Con Pesto, and other toppings to spice up the classic snack.

Cinnamon chocolate popcorn
3 quarts popped popcorn
butter flavored cooking spray
9 T. powdered cocoa mix
3 t. cinnamon
Put popcorn in a large bowl and lightly spray with cooking spray. Sprinkle cocoa mix and cinnamon on popcorn. Toss to coat evenly. Spray and toss again intil mixture is well coated. Serve immediately.
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup unpopped popcorn kernels
Heat the canola oil in a large pot over medium heat. Pour in popcorn and sprinkle sugar on top. Move back and forth over medium heat until popping slows.
Remove from heat and pour into large bowl. Let cool a few minutes then enjoy!
Popcorn Con Pesto
5 quarts popped popcorn
1/2 cup melted butter
1T dried basil leaves, crushed
1t. dried parsley, crushed
1t. garlic powder
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 cup pine nuts (optional)
Put popped popcorn into a large bowl. In a small saucepan, melt the butter; add basil, parsley, garlic, parmesan cheese and nuts. Stir to blend.
Pour over popcorn and mix well. Enjoy!
