SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) - The parents of a murdered Domino's Pizza delivery driver havefiled a $15 million wrongful death suit against the company.
A lawyer for Michael Lind and Lisa Bishop tells TheRepublican of Springfield the suit filed Tuesday in HampdenSuperior Court is also an effort make the company change policiesthat sometimes put delivery people into dangerous situations.
Alex Morales was convicted last month of fatally stabbing20-year-old Corey Lind in December 2007. Prosecutors say Moraleslured Lind to a Springfield neighborhood so he could steal his car.
Morales, serving a life sentence, is also named as adefendant.
A spokesman for Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Domino's said hecannot comment on pending litigation.
