SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - More than 43 million people will be traveling to spend Thanksgiving with their family and friends this week.
That means a lot of people will be on the road on Tuesday, November 20; Wednesday, November 21; and Sunday, November 25th.
If you are headed to Connecticut and New York, there will be delays on I-90 near exit 9, that's where Mass Pike connects to I-84.
If you're going up north to New Hampshire or Maine, there will be delays on I-90 where it intersects with I-495 and where I-495 meets I-93 north may be backed up as well.
The amount of time you'll have to spend on the road isn't the only concern. It's also how much money you'll spend on gas.
Good news though - gas prices will stay relatively low. AAA experts say in some parts of Massachusetts gas prices could drop to as low as $3.40 this week.
