HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) - The former Hartford Chief of Staff was arrested Tuesday, for his use of the city of Hartford vehicle.
Jared Kupiec, 30, turned himself into police at 4:28 PM, and was charged with using a motor vehicle without the owner's permission and interfering with police.
The arrest warrant was obtained by the Hartford Police Department's Internal Affairs Division.
Kupiec was released on a written promise to appear. His court date is schedule for August 8th. The matter is being turned over to the Connecticut States Attorney's Office.
