HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - State prosecutors say a Hartford man has been arrested in eight shootings, including one fatal, dating back to 2007.
Twenty-seven-year-old Donald Raynor was charged Friday in the June 2007 killing of 22-year-old Delano Gray and seven other shootings over a two-year span.
Raynor is being held on $18.75 million bail and scheduled for arraignment Monday in Hartford Superior Court. It's not clear if he has an attorney.
Authorities say their investigation began a year ago after a tip came from an inmate through a program that sells playing cards about unsolved homicides and missing persons cases to prisons. The Delano Gray case was the eight of clubs in the second issue of cards.
