GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Two Springfield residents are facing drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop on I-91 North in Greenfield over the weekend.
According to Massachusetts State Police Media Relations, a trooper pulled over 38-year-old Aaron Belcher just before midnight Saturday for motor vehicle violations.
State police say Belcher and his passenger, 21-year-old Raven Sullivan, were arrested after they were found to have 37 grams of cocaine in their possession. An open bottle of alcohol was also allegedly found in the car.
Belcher and Sullivan have been charged with trafficking in cocaine, conspiracy to violate drug law and possession of open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
Both suspects were held on $5,000 bail pending a Monday arraignment in Greenfield District Court.
