LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - Police have arrested a man who allegedly robbed a Longmeadow bank eight months ago.
According to a Longmeadow Police news release sent to 22News, Colin J. Theobald, 25, of Enfield, Connecticut was arrested on a charge of armed robbery on Thursday evening.
Theobald allegedly robbed the Hampden Bank at Shaker Road and Maple Road on September 21. In that robbery, the suspect handed the teller a note demanding money; a note which also suggested that he had a weapon. The suspect got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Longmeadow police say that a recent tip regarding the suspect's identity led them to Theobald.
He was arraigned on Friday in Springfield District Court, and is being held on $25,000 bail.
