MIRAMAR, Fl. (WWLP) - The third suspect wanted in connection with a murder case involving former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez has been arrested in Florida.
Miramar, Florida Police Officer Maria Strickland told Miami NBC affiliate WTVJ-TV that Ernest Wallace, 41, turned himself into police there at 1:20 P.M.
According to Strickland, Wallace said that he saw himself on the news and turned himself in because he didn't know what is going on. He is currently being held by Miramar police, who will turn him over to Massachusetts authorities.
Wallace had been wanted in Massachusetts for accessory after the fact of murder.
Miramar is located in South Florida, south of Fort Lauderdale and north of Miami.
