SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield Police have arrested two men and charged them with breaking and entering during the daytime.
According to Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney, 18-year-old Jordan Collins and 22-year-old Troy Dubose were arrested after stealing two large HD flat screen TV's from a Hamilton Street home in Springfield Saturday.
The woman that lives in the Hamilton Street home called 911 after arriving and noticing that her home had been broken into, said Delany. The woman was not harmed.
Sgt. Delany said the two suspects were arrested some time later when Detective Matt Lee spotted their gold Accord on Wisteria Street pull into a vacant house. The two large TV's were in the back of the car.
After back-up arrived at the house, Jordan and Troy were placed under custody.
Springfield Detectives are looking into tying the suspects into other break-ins that have occurred in the neighborhood. Police had been looking for a gold colored Honda that had been linked to other break-ins in the neighborhood, according to Delany.
Jordon Collins & Troy Dubose will be charged with the following:
