AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) - An Agawam mother and her child who have been stuck in Brazil since May are getting their passports back.
Linda Hadden, the mother of Shauna Hadden , told 22News a judge ruled in favor of her daughter and she and her six-year-old daughter Ava will be getting their passports returned in one to three days.
Linda Hadden says a judge ruled in their favor late last night and Shauna and Ava will book their flight home as soon as they get their passports back.
Shauna Hadden took her daughter Ava to see her father, but once they got there he filed a custody suit. Brazilian Agents seized both Shauna and Ava's passports and they were placed on the no fly list.
Shauna's mother hopes they will return home this weekend.
