Arson team questioning shed fire on Melha St. in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The arson squad is questioning a fire on Melha Street early Thursday evening.

According to Springfield Fire Department spokesman Dennis Leger, firefighters were called to 97 Melha Street for a shed fire around 4:28 p.m. Leger said the fire was quickly put out.

No injuries were reported but Leger said “this is a set fire the arson squad is investigating."

No further details were available.
