Woman working at U.S. Tsubaki facility got her arm caught in a machine

Police said it happened around 11:29 Thursday night

Michelle Liu - HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - One woman in Holyoke was seriously hurt in a workplace accident overnight.

Holyoke Police Lt. Larry Cournoyer told 22News it was around 11:20 Thursday night at the U.S. Tsubaki facility on Main Street.

He said a woman working there got her arm caught in a machine and suffered "a severe crushing injury."

Lt. Cournoyer said another worker needed to use a forklift to separate the machinery before the woman was taken to Baystate Medical Center.
