PITTSIFELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Pittsfield Police are investigating the drowning of a 2-year-old girl on Saturday.
According to D.A. David F. Capeless office, the Raquel Paris of Victor Street, Pittsfield was found under water in the family swimming pool. Police received a 911 call around 3:15 Saturday afternoon.
Emergency personnel rushed the girl to Berkshire Medical Center where she was pronounced dead a short tome later, said the D.A.'s office.
An autopsy will be performed Tuesday at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Boston to determine the cause of death.
