SHELBURNE FALLS, Mass. (WWLP) - A free informational seminar on senior healthcare was open to the public Friday in Franklin County.
Whether it is for yourself or a parent, the " Healthy Lifestyles and Senior Resources Fair" offered information on financial, personal and quality of life concerns Friday.
The Shelburne Falls Community Center was filled with agencies offering information in making end of life decisions, but there were also ideas to stay active and healthy.
Tai Chi for Arthritis, Gentle Yoga and Osteo Fitness were some of the lessons taught, and each organization offered background information as to what they could offer to better a person's quality of life.
Jon Bos is a volunteer with Hospice of Franklin County that spoke on their behalf. "There's no one answer for that and that's why there's so many different agencies and people here to fill in those gaps. Need help with your taxes, need help with hospitalization. What insurance policy you pick? There are thousands of questions."
If you or your loved ones need more information on making these choices for long term healthcare call 413-625-2502.
