GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The job search was a little easier for some people at Greenfield Community College on Tuesday.
GCC held a Career and Job Fair on campus from 11am to 2pm.
The fair was held for GCC students, career center customers, and others interested in finding work. It was all to help people learn more about job opportunities that are available in western Massachusetts.
"Just came down, looking at different programs, different job opportunities in the area the right place to be, down here. There's a lot of different careers from anywhere Coca-Cola to police to Peace Corps, so there's a lot of good job opportunities down here," John Glenowicz of Northampton said.
"I'm hoping I'll find something. It sounds pretty hopeful in a couple of areas, so I'm working with a few different programs right now that might be a lot to help me out," Lauralye Holman of Greenfield said.
There were more than 25 employers who took part in Tuesday's career and job fair at the college.
