CHICOPEE, Mass, (WWLP) - The Hampden and Berkshire County District Attorney's have scheduled a news conference for Monday to update the public on a disappearance of a Westfield teen more than 20 years ago.
16-year-old Jamie Lusher disappeared on November 6th, 1992, while riding his bike to his grandmother's house in Blandford. Authorities later found his bike in the woods.
His parents came to believe Jamie was a victim of a now convicted child killer Lewis Lent. Lent is serving life in prison for murdering a child in New York State.
Hampden County District Attorney Mark Mastroianni and Berkshire County District Attorney David Capeless will hold the news conference Monday morning at 11:00 at the Westfield Middle School South, 30 West Silver Street.
