FEEDING HILLS, Mass. (WWLP) - Current gas prices are enough to discourage Western Massachusetts drivers from piling on the miles for a summer road trip.
Henry Agudelo and his family from Feeding Hills don't figure on going on any long trips. Like so many people, he told 22News he's got to watch every penny, and at the cost of a long, leisurely trip, right now seems out of the question.
"We're kind of limited maybe, stay in Massachusetts, maybe New York if we're adventurous, but you know that why we have the pool out here everything is centralized in the castle, you know local," said Henry Agudelo.
Gas prices here in Western Massachusetts haven't noticeably gone up or down during the past few weeks. The lowest price is $3.42 a gallon, but you can pay as high as $3.79 for a gallon of regular.
