WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Hard Rock has promised to bring 3,000 permanent jobs if they win the casino license. 22News is working for you with how you can learn more about these possible job opportunities.
Time is running out for Hard Rock to rally support for "Yes" votes on their host agreement with the Town of West Springfield.
Saturday, Hard Rock will be hosting a job fair to showcase some possible career opportunities.
Hard Rock Vice President of Human Resources Kim Creighton told 22News the jobs available could range from food and beverage to casino gaming to management.
The average salary could be anywhere from $30,000 to $120,000.
Current Hard Rock employees from several departments will share their experiences Saturday at the job fair.
“It's a blast. I love going to work every day. The brand's amazing. That's what attracted me to the position to begin with, and I just love my job,” Learning Project Manager Robert Link said.
“I love the people I work with. As far as a corporate culture goes, it's great. Actually it's my favorite job I've ever had,” IT support for Hard Rock Marco Parra said.
Creighton said she's encouraging people without any hospitality experiences to come learn about job opportunities as well.
“We've got some great internal training programs, but we are also going to partner with a community college here and making sure that we've got the right curriculum, so we want people to join our property and be apart of it,” said Creighton.
The fair will be held at the West Springfield Middle School from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
