HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A longtime Easter tradition continued Sunday in Holyoke.
The city's Easter Drag along Northampton Street gave people a reason to dress up in their best Easter attire, at least for part on the day.
It was mostly the children who dressed up. And when they weren't parading, they enjoyed fire equipment demonstrations.
"Well it's a beautiful day here on Easter Sunday," said Matt Morneau of Holyoke. "We're out at the drag; we're here at the fire station. Kids are loving it."
Organizers told 22News, the Holyoke Easter Drag has been an Easter Sunday tradition for as long as anyone in Holyoke can remember.
