HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Hundreds of women came to Holyoke Medical Center for answers to their health questions. 22News found out what concerned women most at the 3rd Annual Women's Health Fair.
Nearly five-hundred filled the front lobby at Holyoke Medical Center Wednesday.
The information they asked for ranged from concerns about Osteoporosis to depression and anxiety.
Sharon Bruns of Holyoke said, “I like to keep up to date with medical information, that I can get and I like to be in tune with my body what's going on with it.”
Holyoke Medical Center specialists such Dr. Zubeena Mateen mingled with the crowd of concerned women to answer any health related question put to them. Heart care, colonoscopy screening, information about breast cancer is done here, and mammograms...”
For many of these women, the Health Fair will be followed up by health screenings as recommended by the medical staff just to be certain they're free of the many maladies that threaten a woman's health.
