WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A major announcement will be made in the case of a teenager from Westfield, who has been missing for more than two decades.
Massachusetts State Police spokesperson David Procopio told 22News that they have an update to share about Jamie Lusher. Back on November 6th, 1992, 16 year-old Lusher disappeared while he was headed to his grandmother's house in Blandford, on his bicycle. The only sign that has turned up since that day is the teen's bike, which was later found in the woods.
Lusher's parents say they believe now-convicted serial killer, Lewis Lent, is behind their son's mysterious disappearance.
A news conference will take place at 11AM Monday, at South Middle School in Westfield, located on West Silver Street.
22News will be there while the new case details are revealed to the public. We'll bring you the latest updates on 22News at Noon, and online at WWLP.com.
