SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - It hasn't taken Springfield Detectives long to come up with a suspect for Saturday morning's stabbing in the Hollywood section of the city.
Springfield Police Captain Cheryl Claprood and Lt.. Robert Moynihan told 22News, someone stabbed a 34 year old man during an argument just after midnight Saturday in front of 20-28 Saratoga Street.
Since the wounded man was taken to Baystate Medical Center, he's been operated on and he's recovering in stable condition. It doesn't seem likely that the stab wound to his upper chest will be fatal.
