PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) - Mohegan Sun released a report on Monday that analyzes the potential impact of its proposed casino in Palmer on nearby communities.
The report focused on the seven communities that border Palmer.
It includes data on 13 communities overall.
The information produced by consultant Beals and Thomas will be delivered to the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission as well as each of the communities discussed.
The report will serve as the baseline for determining which cities and towns will be considered for compensation by Mohegan Sun as it continues the process to win the western Massachusetts gaming license.
