PALMER/MONSON, Mass. (WWLP) - In Palmer and Monson, Tuesday morning, residents were dealing with another day of storm cleanup after an even bigger storm less than two weeks ago .
Snow blowers were out and so were the plow trucks after a few inches of snow coated the ground.
While this winter started slowly, the fact that it continues to drag on for everyone in western Massachusetts is starting to frustrate people.
James Bergeron of Palmer told 22News, "Thank God we didn't get a lot you know? We're tired; we've been doing this, it's a late storm in the late month of March. I don't remember when we had a storm like this in March."
"It's been too long, been out here every day when it's cold and snowy or rainy and I'm just ready for spring," said Bernard Schetzel of Monson.
The month of March normally has around 8 inches of snow so snow this month is certainly not rare, but getting into April we only average about an inch and a half of snow.
Spring begins Wednesday morning at exactly 7:02.
