CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Tree service companies have been working non-stop since the October snowstorm.
Tim's Tree Service in Chicopee has been returning 50 to 60 calls per day on storm-related damage. Tim Kasulinous of Tim's Tree Service says that they are only taking customers who have damage, and have put off regular calls for tree removal until December. "Estimates we're currently putting on hold. Anything for future work that is not storm-related, we're just at this time because of volume of emergency stuff, we're not able to get to it. We're pushing estimates off through December just to keep going full tilt with all the storm work," Kasulinous said.
Tree removal can cost anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars, depending on the damage. Kasulinous says that homeowners should consult with the Better Business Bureau before hiring a tree service.
