SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - People in Springfield got into the holiday spirit during a free concert put on by some special musicians.
43 talented musicians and vocalists of the US Air Force Band of Liberty performed at Symphony Hall Saturday night.
It was an especially meaningful performance for one of them Springfield native, Staff Sgt. Mark Weisman played tenor saxophone.
Daniel Moen says, "This is a very special group of people. All the members of the armed forces are special people. This is a very talented band that plays across the country for various events and we're thrilled to have them here. "
The US Air Force Band of Liberty has been performing for military and civilian audiences more than 25 years.
This is their 5th holiday concert in Springfield's Symphony Hall.
