SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Both Lynch and Markey supporters watched this debate at WGBY studios.
Some began lining up as early as 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
Supporters of Markey told 22News they appreciate Markey voting in favor of the Affordable Care Act.
But Lynch supporters aid their priority is job creation.
Fred Rosenberg of Longmeadow said, "Everybody should have access to health care. It should not be a privilege. It should be a right. I like the fact that he supports women's rights, and he is pro-choice."
"He's worked in the field. He was a union iron worker for 18 years. He knows what it's like to miss work because of the weather. You know, you still have to make your mortgage and still have to pay your bills. He looks out for us, and now we are going to look out for him," said Charlie Payne of Chicopee.
Both the Republican and Democratic primaries will be held on April 30th.
The special election will be on June 25th.
