LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - A West Springfield woman believes the car that was stolen from her was later used as the getaway car in Saturday's Berkshire Bank holdup in Longmeadow.
The woman notified 22News Sunday that there's no doubt in her mind that her stolen grey Oldsmobile Intrigue was the car involved in the Berkshire Bank holdup on Longmeadow Street.
She revealed someone had stolen her car that she had left running while she prepared to go to work.
She noticed a mysterious woman sitting on the steps of her apartment complex, the same woman who may have robbed the bank.
The woman is seen in images taken from surveillance video that Longmeadow Police Sgt. Robert Stocks provided to 22News.
The owner of the car told 22News, her grey sedan was stolen around 11o'clock Saturday morning, less than one hour before the Longmeadow branch bank was robbed.
The car's owner said the driver's side window has three parking permits for the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
