CHESTERFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The town of Chesterfield celebrated America, as well as it's past, present and future with a parade on Thursday.
Fire trucks, antique cars, and even oxen teams joined marchers as they paraded down the streets of the town.
The Independence Day tradition has people coming back year after year, even from out of state.
Kristine and Cheri Evans traveled to Chesterfield from the New Haven area to see the parade.
"I've been coming since I was three. I wouldn't miss it," Cheri said.
This is the 66th year Chesterfield has held a Fourth of July Parade. The theme of the parade this year was "Children are our Future."
