AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) - A computer virus left the health records of more than 1,500 University of Massachusetts Amherst students vulnerable.
The infected computer was in the Center for Language, Speech and Hearing. The malware infection was detected April 5th.
The Associate Dean of the department told the State House News Service that students should be vigilant and pay attention to any unusual activity.
He does not believe any of the information was copied off that infected computer.
