NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - The Paradise city's third annual Jazz Festival was in full swing Saturday night.
People came from all over western Massachusetts to listen to the smooth sounds of the jazz musicians.
The festival's main stage was set up on Hampton Ave. behind Thornes Marketplace but there was also music inside.
People told 22News it was a great night out to just relax and have fun. One of the musicians said seeing all the people enjoy the music makes it all worth it.
Ben Allison of the Ben Allison Band told 22News, “And when people are out and checking it out...there's really nothing better. I mean, we all make records and were on the radio, but there's nothing like a like crowd.”
Jazz Festival President John Michaels told 22News they have more than 50 sponsors and feature student musicians, local artists, and world class jazz musicians.
