NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - No decision was made on Wednesday regarding the licensure of Tully O'Reilly's bar in Northampton.
The Northampton licensing committee, the police chief, and the bar's attorney questioned police officers and bar employees.
Northampton Police say they've been called to or near Tully's nearly 350 times during the last several years.
Police Chief Russell Sienkiewicz requested the violation hearing after a July 16th fight at the bar where six people were arrested and two people were taken to the hospital.
Tully's Head of Security, Walter Jennings, spoke with 22News regarding the incident. "Within 5 minutes of the incident 90% of patrons we're removed from the bar. The rest we're waiting to pay their tabs. And there was no melee in the bar after these two gentlemen were fighting," said Jennings
Tully O'Reilly's license review hearing will reconvene on September 4th.
