FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WWLP) - New England Patriots Tight End Aaron Hernandez made a brief visit to Gillette Stadium on Thursday, while a homicide investigation continues near his North Attleborough home.
Hernandez was seen leaving his home around 11:00 A.M., and drove to Gillette in nearby Foxborough, visited briefly, and then left. He stopped for gas before driving north toward Boston, though his ultimate destination is not clear at this time.
Hernandez was questioned by police in connection with the death of former semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd, whose body was found about a mile away from Hernandez's home. The two knew each other, though it is not clear what their relationship was.
There have been no public statements from Hernandez or the Patriots organization at this time.
