(WWLP) - With the suspected Marathon bombing suspect still on the loose Friday morning, residents of several Boston neighborhoods and western suburbs, have been urged to stay inside.
The communities affected include Watertown, Newton, Waltham, Belmont Cambridge, Arlington, and the Allston-Brighton area of Boston.
That follows a shoot out early Friday morning with the two suspects in Watertown in which one of the men was killed.
One Newton resident told 22News that they received a reverse 911 call from the city's police chief urging residents to stay in and for businesses not to open.
Gov. Deval Patrick on Friday also urged those in the affected suburbs to shelter in police as the manhunt goes on.
