CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - John Walsh will serve a second four-year term as Chairman of the Massachusetts Democratic Committee.
The committee elects a chairman following presidential elections.
After Walsh's five years of leadership in the state party, Democrats hold every Constitutional Office, every seat in Congress and will soon hold both Massachusetts seats in the U.S. Senate.
According Raymond Jordan, Vice Chairman of the MA Democratic Party, "He makes sure he gets down to the grassroots of the campaign. It's all about the organization and logistics. John Walsh believes in logistics and doing the work."
Walsh also served as Deval Patrick's Campaign Manager during his first run for governor in 2006.
