Eyewitness News was the only Rhode Island station to take part in a motion to unseal several documents related to the murder investigation which was filed on Friday morning in Attleboro District Court.
Multiple media outlets worked together to fight to uncover more documents in the murder case against Hernandez and requested the court release two arrest warrants, accompanying affidavits, as well as additional search warrants.

When those documents were released, Eyewitness News learned that police questioned the former tight-end on the same day Odin Lloyd's body was discovered.
Aaron Hernandez pleaded not guilty to murder. Police are also investigating his possible involvement in a double murder in Boston 2012 .
A hearing on the motion to unseal the documents is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
